The college has well-equipped departments and an academic building. It is connected to a junior college with a strength of 600 students. The senior college offers Arts, Commerce, and Science programs, with approximately 2,000 students enrolled in both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses. Additionally, the college has a PhD research center for Marathi, Hindi, Mathematics, and History, which is affiliated with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.

The college was established before fifty years by Late. Khanderaoji Patil Shisode in adverse conditions. Since 1965 colleges has been providing education to under privileged masses of the region. The college traditional Arts, Commerce and Science faculties having under graduate and post graduate courses. During the golden jubilee year of Pratishthan Mahavidyalaya the management resolves to do much more in offering modern career oriented programmes, changing pedagogy, introducing ICT based teaching and proving modern facilities to our students. We hope to shape career of our students who will play a vital role to the contribution of national development.
